5 of the best drinks trolleys for your festive party!

best tea trollies

About a year ago, I found a drinks trolley outside a shop that had a sign on it saying ‘please take me’. Ever since then, it has taken centre stage at every dinner party, garden party and/or dance party that we have had in our house.

I don’t wish our walls could talk. No, I wish the trolley could talk. It would probably tell you a few (rather embarrassing) stories about both the hosts and guests, and it would recall a whole heap of brilliant memories. Which is, of course, why it needs to come out yet again in a few weeks time, at Christmas.

It would normally be laden with an assortment of cocktail ingredients and accessories: liqueur, lemons, swizzle sticks, cork screws, martini glasses, mixer drinks etc, but this time, I think I will use it as a dessert trolley piled high with mince pies, christmas cake, brandy butter, and if I get my way, maybe even some lamingtons!

I do like the idea of a drinks trolley, but there are probably two things stopping me: one, I don’t have the space (though I’m sure I could find a corner somewhere) and two, I would probably be tempted to have cocktail hour every evening of the week! I do like the look of number 4 though – that could probably convince me 😉

Haha Carole, I know what you mean! That’s why I put it in the cupboard in between parties, or I must be too tempted myself! x

Yes! I actually think I might make some Aussie treats for Xmas as I’m feeling quite homesick this week! Hope you’re having fun in Oz, my love xx
